'Tis The Season

Christians are entering the most wonderful time of the year as we Remember and Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, without which:
“we are of all people most pitiful”
1 Corinthians 15:19
as the Apostle Paul wrote to the church of Corinth.
He was giving this truth to those who doubted or denied that Christ was raised from the dead. There are many today who believe the same thing, or that Christ was raised in spirit and His teachings are what we should learn from and live by. Without the Resurrection of Jesus, we have no hope of eternal life. Jesus had to defeat death in order that we could live.
This is the Passover Season leading up to the death of Jesus upon the cross, dying for the sins of the world and raising from the dead to give us life! Believers around the world will be celebrating this truth. Christians are filled with joy and hope everyday, but Passover and the Easter season bring this joy into deeper focus.
Christians should be prepared to share the joy of their salvation with everyone, especially during this time. When we gather as a church to celebrate the Lord’s Supper, we are reminded of two important “holidays” - Christmas (the body) when Christ was born, and Easter (the blood) when Christ died. There is no better time to share this Good News in a world that still doubts and disbelieves.
The Church Family will gather together on Good Friday to be re-minded of the hope in us as we Celebrate the Lord’s Supper along with a deeply meaningful time of worship. Please join us on Friday, April 18th at 6:00 PM and use this opportunity to invite others especially your unsaved friends.
